Explore and Play is suitable for all children aged between 0-6 years, and their families too. We offer a huge range of play activities for children, plus after school clubs and courses for parents, pre and post birth.
Yes! Our play centre is all at floor level with no ramps or steps. Each activity space is designed to be wheelchair friendly where possible and we have a large accessible toilet with handrails.
Our address is 21 Stanley Square, Sale, M33 7WZ. You can access our centre from Stanley Square (we’re next to Wilkos and Groceries and Beer), or from Springfield Road (opposite Springfield Road School). If you’re not familiar with Sale Town Centre and are travelling by car, we recommend you park at The Square car park, (click here for a google maps link) as we are a few steps away along Springfield Road, between Wilkos and Snap Fitness.
Sat Navs can be a bit erratic as Stanley Square is a pedestrian zone and not accessible by car. If you are struggling to find us, try using the postcode M33 7XS, which should bring you to Springfield Road.
If you are travelling by Tram, exit at Sale Metrolink Station, turn left onto Springfield Road and walk for 300m.
There are several car parks around Sale Town Centre which are just a short walk away. The closest is The Square car park just off Sibson Rd. Parking here is free for the first hour and then £2 or £3 depending on how long you stay. It is just a 2 minute walk along Springfield road to the Explore and Play entrance and you can find the Google Maps link by clicking HERE.
Parking is also available at Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
We have a handy little pram park just next to our cafe space. Please note, we do not accept responsibility for any items left unattended, so keep any valuables with you at all times.
No, we don’t allow you to bring any food or drink onto the premises. We do have a lovely cafe which caters for everyone.
